Study tools and formats

01

Learn the principle

Read the explanation, work an example, identify a common error and check your understanding. Save a note in your own words.

02

Reason through a case

Start with the observation. Explain the likely condition, choose a useful check and compare the response to a confirmed finding.

03

Practise the calculation

Enter your numerical answer, then compare units and working. Eight methods each have nine numerical exercises.

04

Diagnostic assessment

A 25-question diagnostic with explanations held until submission establishes a first practice result.

05

Simulate the exam

A full simulation uses the published question count and four-hour limit. A half exam uses half the count, rounded up, in two hours, with no repeated question families within that session.

06

Review after a delay

Missed questions return immediately. Correct answers return after increasing intervals when you keep answering them correctly.

07

Build a personal question set

Bookmark difficult items, work through unseen questions or choose a topic and difficulty for a focused session.

08

Work-activity drills

Practise the items assigned to an official work activity and see how many you have assessed. Read the study sheet for the same items.

09

Practical workshop

Order a workflow, match terms to meanings and write a case response before comparing with the model reasoning.

10

Download study materials

Download a workbook for offline reading and printing. Export your notes and study calendar for your own use.

Try 30 questions before choosing a package. Every trade has a free sample with explanations and a saved result. No purchase or payment card is required.

Content and assessment limits

The questions and lessons are independent study resources to use alongside your technical training. Each trade has two full-length forms that match the published task counts, question-type ranges and four-hour writing time. All study formats use the same bank.

First-attempt accuracy, latest accuracy and item coverage help you see your own progress. They are not validated predictions of official exam performance. There is no official affiliation or pass guarantee.
